"Cerise and Indigo Texture" by Rhonda Anderson
This is a piece I have been working on for a charity exhibition. The title was "Indigo" and any fabric technique could be used as long as it was 10" square. I dyed all the material myself. Heavy machine quilting and freehand work. Beaded.

"Fruit Mosaic" by Rhonda Anderson
This is the quilt went to Sutton Hoo for an exhibition in September. The theme is Favourite Things and this is a piece I started at a Barbara Weeks' workshop last year. She specialises in mosaic
technique and this is the first piece I have done like this. I dyed all the coloured material, but not the background or the binding.
"Jungle Quilt" by Rhonda Anderson
This quilt incorporates the Project Linus challenge fabric. I bought the animal motifs at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham in August and designed the quilt myself. I have taken the opportunity to try out free machine quilting for the first time on a whole quilt. The leaves are quilted and also the borders and sashing. It is about a metre square.
"Sweet Harmony" by Connie Gilham
An exploration of music and colour harmony. From a colour wheel, I assigned each musical note its own colour, then plotted an eight part choral work (from Vaughan Williams' Serenade to music) to see how it looked expressed in colour. Light to heavy fabric represents Soprano through to Bass and the quilting reflects the overall flow of the music.
Hand dyed and painted fabric. Machine pieced, mainly hand quilted
